Is it likely that a person could catch worms if their cat was trained to use the toilet?

Just Me asked:

I'm thinking of literally toilet training my kitten instead of using a litter tray. My only concern is that, once he's willing to use a toilet, will my family and I risk catching worms from him if we share the same toilet seat? My kitten is currently a house cat but I plan on introducing him to the outdoors sometime via a cat harness and lead.

I have a male cat approx. 6 months old. He litter trained quickly (son found him abandded in the woods when ?

me2you asked:

cat was approx. 3 weeks) lately I've noticed the cat is peeing on either my bed or my sons'. I know he isn't spraying (unfixed male) because it doesn't have that male cat spray smell. He doesn't do it all the time. Could he have gone Dirty even though he doesn't do it all the time?
thank you.

How do I train my cat to pee in the litter box?

Sugu5 asked:

I've got two cats and they're not allowed in the house because every time they are, they pee/poop on the sofa and its such a hassle to wash it all the time. Because of this, mom makes them stay outside. How do I train them to pee ONLY in the litter box and not in the house? And because my cats are always outside, how can I make sure than they don't run away or go to the neighbors house since my house is surrounded by those who own dogs?

How can I train my cat to stay out of the basement?

The Shadow asked:

Like most cats, my cat likes to disobey the rules. She knows she's not allowed in the basement because when I'm doing laundry and she sneaks down there I'll yell at her and she'll run back upstairs. I try to keep the door shut but sometimes I forget. How can I better train her?

Any ideas on how to wean and litter box train my kittens?

asked:

My kittens are now 10 weeks old and I have been trying to get them weaned. They do eat kitten food, but then, they want to go back and want to nurse on their mother and I don't know what to really do to break them, please help and too I need some ideas on getting them to be litter box trained as well. When I would see them about to do their business, I grab them and put them in the box, and that's when they will go, but I want them to go on their own, any ideas on that? Thanks.
